Mr. Ali Abbas Aslam, is a young researcher and innovator in the field of Chemistry with a specialization in materials, polymer, and nanochemistry. He holds a Bachelor of Science (2019–2023) and a Master of Science in Chemistry (2023–2025) from the University of Education, Lahore, where his research focused on the development of biodegradable, antimicrobial, and antioxidant films impregnated with curcumin for food preservation, contributing towards eco-friendly alternatives to conventional plastics. Professionally, he has served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Curcumin Encapsulation Project, a Teaching Assistant for Atomic Spectrophotometry, and Founder of EcoaCare Packaging Solutions (2025), a start-up dedicated to sustainable food packaging solutions, besides completing a QC/QA internship at Pharmedic Laboratories. His research interests revolve around biopolymers, nanomaterials, food packaging innovations, and environmental remediation, supported by strong laboratory expertise in chromatography, spectroscopy (UV/Vis, FTIR), electroanalytical techniques, thermogravimetric analysis, drug analysis, and advanced software including SPSS, ChemDraw, Origin, and BioRender. Ali has authored 7 research articles, 11 book chapters, and several conference papers, with publications in reputed journals such as Food and Chemical Toxicology, Arabian Journal of Chemistry, Journal of Molecular Structure, and Journal of Nanoparticle Research, with a Scopus record of 6 documents, 4 citations, and h-index 2. His honors include the Prime Minister Laptop Award, a Cash Prize from the Pakistan Freelancing Training Program, and recognition as a Winner of the Innovative Start-up Incubation (2025) at UE Lahore, alongside active membership in the Royal Society of Chemistry and volunteer service with youth and social organizations.
