Bulti Kumera Fufa is an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at Injibara University, Ethiopia, with more than a decade of academic and research experience in microbiology and food safety. He holds an MSc in Microbiology from Hawassa University and a BSc in Biology from Debre Berhan University. His research expertise spans food and water microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, mycotoxins, bioremediation, mushroom cultivation, and biofertilizers. He has authored and co-authored nine peer-reviewed journal articles, including publications in Microbiology Open, Discover Applied Sciences, Journal of Water and Health, and BioMed Research International, and currently has additional work under review. Dr. Fufa has served as a principal investigator on applied research projects addressing agricultural waste utilization and antimicrobial properties of natural products. His work contributes directly to public health improvement, food safety assurance, environmental sustainability, and community awareness in Ethiopia through interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based research.
