Dr. Ajith B. S. Singh is an accomplished academician, researcher, and certified Level-I thermographer with over 21 years of combined expertise spanning thermography, control systems, biomedical instrumentation, project management, and engineering education. With 7 years of industry-focused thermographic experience and 14 years in academia, he has built a distinguished career marked by technical excellence, innovation, and multidisciplinary contributions. Dr. Ajith has served more than 14 years as Assistant Professor, contributing significantly to the departments of EIE, ICE, and EEE at reputed institutions such as Sethu Institute of Technology and Sri Krishna College of Technology. He has held key academic responsibilities, including Exam Cell Coordinator, Placement Coordinator, Department R&D Incharge, Innovation Ambassador, NBA/NAAC criteria head, and Department Website Developer. His instructional expertise spans a wide range of subjects, including Process Control, Industrial Instrumentation, Control Systems, Robotics, Digital Control, Biomedical Instrumentation, and emerging areas of IoT and adaptive systems. A prolific researcher, he has authored over 35 international journal publications, several book chapters, and two academic books published by LAP-LAMBERT Academic Publishing. His works appear in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and reputable platforms such as Springer, Soft Computing, Materials Today: Proceedings, and Optimal Control Applications and Methods. His research spans intelligent control, thermography-based diagnostics, digital twins, renewable energy systems, biomedical applications, and advanced instrumentation. He also serves as a Reviewer for the Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement and Control (ASME), contributing to global scientific peer review. Dr. Ajith has delivered expert lectures, served on advisory committees for international conferences, guided 36 undergraduate projects, and filed five patents, reflecting his commitment to technological innovation and societal advancement. His diverse achievements, leadership roles, and sustained research output highlight his impactful contributions to engineering education, scientific research, and community-oriented technological development.
