In June 2021, Dr. El Mogy was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Standards in the Material Testing and Surface Chemical Analysis lab in Giza, Egypt. Additionally, she served as a Lecturer in the Chemistry Department at the Faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University (Girls Branch) from September 2016 until 2020.
