In his secondary research work, Mr. Sharma focused on immunoinformatics to design a vaccine construct aimed at preventing and treating Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections. This vaccine construct was designed based on the analysis of secretory exosomes antigens of the pathogen, with the goal of developing a preventive therapeutic approach against tuberculosis.

Dr. Aboshanab is a member of the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) and a reporter of the medical sector of the strategic research committee of Ain Shams University. He served as the director of the quality assurance unit (QAU) of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University from October 2012 to October 2017 and was a member of the permanent committee of postgraduate studies and scientific research.
