Dr. Ameer Al-Rubaye completed his Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 2018 from Kazan (Volga region) Federal University, Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies. His thesis focused on “In situ upgrading of heavy oil using bimetallic catalysts under steam injection conditions for enhanced oil recovery,” under the guidance of Ph.D., Associate Professor Mikhail A. Varfolomeev. Dr. Ameer Al-Rubaye obtained his Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 2018 from Kazan (Volga region) Federal University, Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies. His research thesis titled “In situ upgrading of heavy oil using bimetallic catalysts under steam injection conditions for enhanced oil recovery” was conducted under the supervision of Ph.D., Associate Professor Mikhail A. Varfolomeev.

Achievements:

Dr. Ameer Al-Rubaye actively participated in the Annual Student’s Scientific Conference of Kazan Federal University on April 17, 2020. Additionally, he successfully completed a summer internship in 2020 at the Arab Oil and Gas Academy, which was hosted by Marietta College/Piopetro/SPE Egypt.

In 2018, Dr. Ameer Al-Rubaye attended Kazan Federal University, where he pursued his academic interests in Petroleum Engineering. In 2020, he worked as an Engineer Assistant in Russia, Kazan, documenting in-lab results related to SAGD/In-situ operations. During this role, he contributed to experiment activities and the combustion of heavy oil. Later, in 2021, Dr. Al-Rubaye served as a Lecturer in Petroleum Engineering at Alkitab University, furthering his career in academia and industry.
