Education:

Rhizlan Abdnim has pursued a comprehensive academic journey, culminating in a diverse educational background. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a specialization in Physiology and Health at the Faculty of Sciences in Oujda, Morocco, from 2015 to 2018. Following this, she continued her academic pursuit by undertaking a Master’s degree in Physiology and Ethnopharmacology at the same institution from 2018 to 2020. During her academic career, Rhizlan also engaged in a variety of educational enhancements, including a pedagogical training program focused on teaching processes and assessment methodologies, completed in Oujda in 2023. Additionally, she pursued a certification in the English language at the American Language Center in Oujda, attaining a B4 level proficiency after 60 hours of instruction in 2020. Her educational path reflects a commitment to holistic learning and professional development, positioning her as a dedicated scholar in the field of physiology and pharmacology.

Professional Experience:

In October 2023, Rhizlan Abdnim presented a poster on the antioxidant activity, antiglycation activity of hemoglobins and albumins at several stages, and phytochemical analysis of Opuntia ficus indica seed oil from Eastern Morocco at a communication event in Kenitra. In July 2022, she presented a poster on the inhibitory effect of α-amylase activity, antiglycation, and antioxidant effect of Opuntia ficus indica L seed oil, both in vitro and in vivo, at a communication event in Saidia. In May 2022, she gave an oral presentation on the antioxidant, antiglycation, and antihyperglycemic effects of Opuntia ficus indica L seed oil, both in vitro and in vivo, at a communication event in Fès. Similarly, in May 2022, she presented an oral communication on the inhibitory effect of α-amylase activity, antiglycation, and antioxidant effect of Opuntia ficus indica L seed oil, both in vitro and in vivo, at a communication event in Tétouan. In March 2022, she gave an oral presentation on the effect of Opuntia ficus indica L seed oil on α-amylase activity and glycation, both in vitro and in vivo, at a communication event in Oujda. Additionally, in March 2022, she organized the SVE & Health doctoral day in Oujda. These contributions demonstrate Rhizlan’s active involvement in scientific communication and her dedication to advancing knowledge in her field.

Rhizlan Abdnim’s research interests primarily focus on the medicinal properties of plants, particularly their antioxidant and antiglycation activities, as well as their potential role in managing diabetes. She is also interested in phytochemical analysis and the effects of plant extracts on various biological processes, such as α-amylase activity and glycation. Her work aims to explore the therapeutic potential of natural compounds for improving health outcomes, with a particular focus on traditional Moroccan medicinal plants.
