Prof. Weichen Huang is a rising scholar in organic chemistry, specializing in fluorine chemistry, photocatalysis, transition metal catalysis, and asymmetric synthesis. He earned his Ph.D. from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under Professor Qilong Shen, and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania with Professor Gary A. Molander. Currently a Professor at Shanghai University, he has authored over 15 high-impact publications in leading journals such as Angewandte Chemie, JACS, ACS Catalysis, and Nature Communications. His research focuses on developing innovative catalytic methodologies with applications in pharmaceuticals and advanced materials. Through international collaborations and cutting-edge research, he contributes significantly to sustainable chemical synthesis and the advancement of modern organic chemistry.
