Additionally, he received the IOP Publishing Award for trusted reviewer status in recognition of his exceptionally high level of peer review competency in 2023. His dedication and excellence in STEM fields were recognized with the Women in STEM Excellence Trophy from the British Council in February 2022. Furthermore, Dr. Nasser was awarded the Millionaire Club award from Egypt-Japan University for Science and Technology in April 2019. Elsevier congratulated him for his significant contributions to open science between 2020-2022 and recognized the role of his researches in helping solve the world’s greatest challenges. Dr. Mohamed Rabie Nasser’s research interests span a wide range of areas in the fields of Nano-technology and nano-materials, Water and wastewater treatment technologies, Membrane Technology, membrane desalination, and Reverse Osmosis. He is particularly focused on water desalination, self-healing materials for corrosion prevention, renewable energy systems, and separation technologies. Dr. Nasser also has a keen interest in microwave processing, biosynthesis, Bio-technology, and micro-reactors. His work extends to areas such as Biodiesel, bio-lubricants, and bio-greases, where he explores innovative solutions and applications. Dr. Mohamed Rabie Nasser has actively participated in various workshops and training programs related to his field. He co-organized the “US-Egypt Workshop on Synthesis, Characterization, and Industrial Applications of Nanoparticles and Nanostructure Materials” at Mubarak City for Scientific Research & Technology Application in November 2005. Dr. Nasser also attended a training division on “Calibration of Labs According to ISO-17025 Specifications” by Engineering & Quality Experts in September 2005. He further enhanced his skills with a training course on technical writing offered by The Arab Society of Material Science in February 2006. In 2007, Dr. Nasser participated in a training division on “Internal Auditing for ISO-17025:2005 Specifications” by Engineering & Quality Experts. Additionally, he attended the Workshop on Nanotechnology and its Applications at Egypt ion Russian University & Housing and Building National Research Center in March 2009. Dr. Nasser was also involved in co-organizing and attending a Workshop on “Middle East-Microwave Assist Technology (MAT) in Materials Processing” at Mubarak City for Scientific Research & Technology Application in October 2009. Notably, continuous catalysis success was demonstrated, achieving a 55.6% yield over 8 hours. My leadership in continuous biodiesel production and the coupling of extraction with transesterification under supercritical conditions has garnered widespread attention. Additionally, I’ve successfully invented novel catalyst preparation methods, reflected in multiple granted patents. By modulating the coordination environment of novel catalysts, I achieved selective hydrogenation of functionalized nitroarenes, making critical breakthroughs in chemical reaction kinetics and phase behavior in supercritical CO2. This body of research not only profoundly impacts academia but also provides valuable insights for practical industrial production and green energy development. My work showcases unwavering commitment to academic excellence and practical application, making substantial contributions to research, development, innovation, and extension activities.
