From February 2014 to December 2020, he worked as a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Chemistry Department, College of Applied Science, Umm Al-Qura, Makkah, KSA. Dr. Khedr also served as the Director of the Micro-Analysis Unit at the Faculty of Science, Tanta University, Tanta – Egypt, from February 2012 to February 2013. Prior to his professorship roles, he held positions as an Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry (February 2007 – January 2012), Lecturer of Analytical Chemistry (February 2000 – February 2007), and Assistant Lecturer of Inorganic Chemistry (February 1997 – February 2000) at the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Tanta University, Tanta – Egypt.
