I also completed my National Youth Service Corps in 2008 after obtaining an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Ado Ekiti, Nigeria, where I graduated with Second Class Honors Lower Division in 2005. Additionally, I received my B.L (Hons.) from the Nigerian Law School, Kano, in 2007, with Second Class Honour Lower Division. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria), holding the AciArb qualification since 2008. Furthermore, I have been a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja Branch, from 2007 to 2022, and the Nigerian Law Teachers Association from 2014 to 2022.

In 2023, I was recognized as one of the top four scientists in the world in the list of the 2023 World Top 2% Best Scientists, representing Nigeria. This recognition was based on my contributions to the field of science and research, as reflected in my work at Afe Babalola University, where I hold the position of Chancellor. Additionally, I was honored with the Scopus Award for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 sessions by the College of Law at Afe Babalola University. In 2001/2002, I received the Federal Government Scholarship Award for Tertiary Institution, which supported my academic pursuits. Furthermore, I was a recipient of the South Tomé Principe Joint Development Authority Scholarship Assistance Scheme Award for Post Graduate Students in 2011, which furthered my education and research endeavors.

EXPERIENCE:

I currently hold the position of Associate Professor at the College of Law, Afe Babalola University, a role I have held since 2021. In this capacity, I am responsible for teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For undergraduate students, I teach courses such as Oil and Gas Law (LPI 507), Commercial Law (LPB 301), Constitutional Law (LPI 201), and Public International Law (PIL 503). In the postgraduate LL.M. program, I instruct on Law of Industrial and Intellectual Property I (LPB 835), Energy and Natural Resources Law 1 (LPI 827), International Trade and Investment Law (LPI 825), and Law of Secured Credit Transactions I (LPB 807). The user has been involved in several research projects, including a collaborative project under TEQIP III, National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU), MHRD, titled “Design and Development of TEG integrated charcoal cookstove,” where they served as the Principal Investigator. Additionally, they are leading a DST SEED sponsored research project titled “Design and Development of Solar Photo Voltaic Powered Cane Slicing machine,” which has a funding of 2,411,720 INR and is currently ongoing. The user has undertaken various training programs and workshops to enhance their skills and knowledge. This includes a training program in Embedded Systems at Bhartiya Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi, spanning 6 weeks from 2nd June to 11th July 2008. Additionally, they completed field training in the Planning and Technology Department – Geographical Information System (GIS) at North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi, Shakti Nagar, New Delhi. This training, focused on the project ‘Study on the need, importance, and utilization of GIS in Electric distribution utility,’ lasted for 8 weeks from 4th June to 4th August 2009. This workshop was jointly organized by Winrock International, Berkely Air Monitoring Group, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), USA, and took place in Ahmedabad, India, over 5 days from 5th to 9th August.

NEW LABORATORY EXPERIMENTS/DESIGN EXPERIMENTS INTRODUCED:

The user has an extensive background in the design and implementation of Thermo Electric Generator (TEG) technology in cookstoves, showcasing their expertise in the field. They have designed a prototype of a cookstove embedded with TEG and subsequently produced numerous TEG stoves. Their work also involved comprehensive testing of TEGs while mounted on stoves, focusing on parameters such as current, power, voltage, temperature, and others. Additionally, they have designed various electrical circuits and topologies for utilizing TEGs with stoves, demonstrating their proficiency in both hardware and system design.

Furthermore, the user has utilized the generated power from TEGs for practical applications such as charging mobile phones and other batteries.
