She began her career as an Instructor at Cairo University – Faculty of Science in May 2007 and completed pre-master courses in 2007-2008. Dr. Ahmed went on to earn her M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from Cairo University – Faculty of Science – Chemistry Department in 2009, with a thesis titled “Steric Interaction and Phase Behavior of Some Laterally Substituted Liquid Crystalline Compounds.” Continuing her academic journey, she became an Assistant Lecturer at Cairo University – Faculty of Science (Physical Chemistry) in December 2009. Dr. Ahmed further pursued her studies and obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Cairo University – Faculty of Science – Chemistry Department in 2012. Her doctoral thesis was on the “Effect of Polarity, Position, and number of Lateral Substituents on the Mesophase Behavior of Some Model Compounds in Pure and Mixed States.” Dr. Ahmed’s dedication and expertise in Physical Chemistry led to her appointment as a Lecturer at Cairo University – Faculty of Science (Physical Chemistry) in July 2012.
